| Grr...I am so fed up with myself. I mean, seriously. I'm fucking 22 and now I get the kind of crush that has me dreaming about the person and stalking them on the internet?! And I'm not talking random tidbits of dreams that might possibly have included said crush, but real, actual, vivid dreams featuring said crush as the central player. And two of them were bad dreams, too. >_< Really. It's pathetic. Not to mention that this person lives six hours away and I barely know them. Like... what the hell, right? I mean, this thing is bad enough that my stupid stomach flips over when they sign onto MSN. And I once squeed. Yes. Squeed. And it doesn't seem to matter how much I rationalise and go over all the reasons it's stupid and pathetic, I can't get rid of it. And I'm falling asleep at night thinking of them, and waking up the next day still thinking about them, or crying because of bad dreams to do with them. That was a fun morning. I was shitty with everything until lunchtime, I reckon. Man, I hate myself sometimes. Why can't I just have a normal boyfriend? Who actually lives in Mildura and is nice? Why do I crush on people who live miles away, or don't even know me, thereby making things complicated? Why am I a complete and utter idiot? Like I said to Tess, I feel like bashing my head into something until it goes away, but a) I know that wouldn't actually help and b) I have a very low tolerance for pain, and could never inflict it upon myself. *dies* I'm too much of a wuss! At least I only made a dick of myself the very first time we spoke, and the other times, it was better. Said crush even commented on liking the way I think... Of course, that was because I was stealing presents from children and handing them over... *giggles* Anyway! I can remain secure in the knowledge that anyone who reads this already knows all about this idiocy and, therefore, I'm not telling anyone anything new and nothing will get back to the person in question. In other news, Val is really, really sick... Like... bad... Pray for Vally. ~KittyMewMewPants. | | |
| Hmm... it's really scary that, even with the irregularity of my updatishness on Xanga, of the three FF8 RPers, I'm still the most regularly-updating one. Post you bums! Post now! Especially you, Val, since you're never around to talk to. T_T
I found this really awesome site with really hawt smexy yaoi on it! Unfortunately, I'm at Uni right now and can't remember the addy. Also, the text size on it is very large, so I can't go reading it here at uni. Hehehe. Or, I could, since I have before. ;)
I am only still at Uni because of wanting to see Mel. She should feel special that I'm wasting an hour just so I can spend time with her. Also want to show her my Reno shoes, but that's not the point. *giggles* Anyway, I don't mind wasting an hour. I won't stay too long with Mellikins, then I'll go home.
I have been let off the hook with Field Experience! I went to tell Mel (the lecturer, not my friend lol) that I'm worried about not reaching my hours because of days off and curriculum days and suchlike, and she's like "What about planning? Document all that and add up the time spent doing it, and that can count towards your hours." I'm like YES! Score. She doesn't know how much planning outside of FE I'm doing, so I can fudge that all I like. Yay for fudging. I spent bloody the whole day last week looking for the right picture for my art lesson for one! I reckon I could easily say 2 hours of planning for each art lesson, that makes each one of those total 5 hours, which is one day! If I say an hour per Guided Reading lesson groups, that's 8 hours per week, and a half hour per Drama lesson (bullshit, but anyway) that's an hour, so a total of 14 hours per week, which is nearly three days. 7 weeks of that is 21 days, which is just right for what I need, and that's not counting the weeks I've already done at Trinity and West. Hooray!
Hmm... 12:34. 20 minutes to fill. Not too much. Wish I could go to the aforementioned site and read the hawt (damn you Eoko for that word!) yaoi therein, but I can't. T_T I'll read my previous Xanga entries instead, for they are insane. INSANE! Then I'll go have coffee and cake with Mel! (My friend, not the lecturer) Aren't we refined?! Woot woot!
*giggles* One of my lecturers is over here with another lecturer learning how to use the e-mail program. He always forgets to check his e-mails. I should know. I sent one once that he never got, because it stayed so long in his inbox, it got pushed off the edge when more stuff went in, because his inbox was so full! Most of the lecturers are pretty good at checking e-mail though.
Man... someone's heating soup or something... *drool* So hungry... BUT I know there's casserole waiting for me at home when I eventually get there. Mmm... casserole. Mum makes the best casserole ever in existance! EVAH! I shall go home and butter bread and have casserole and bread! Yay!
So hungry...
Okay! I must now away! All fear for the safety of those I come into contact with! Mwahahahahaha!

| Wai! I guess I owe everyone an appology for saying that they didn't read this! *bows* Gomen nasai! I should not assume that it's not being read 'cause there's no comments! Dumb of me. *smacks self and bows again* Sorry everyone! Ignore my rambling. And Oni, of course you are a statistic! And more!
Hmm... we went and saw Tokyo Drift today! It was very cool! Cute Japanese boys everywhere! And fast cars. Oh, and the main character was a cowboy! XD Not as good a cowboy as Irvine, of course. He had the accent, though, and the cockiness. It was verra good.
Kuy and I were wig-shopping today for our cosplay outfits. We had almost despaired, since we couldn't find the right style in red for my Reno wig, but then Eoko gave me a helpful tip and we came up with some ideas for dying. Conventional hair dye and also food dye did not work. But all is now back on track! Wai!
In other news, my poor laptop is having overheating problems again. T_T Everyone knows what that means! A trip to the shop! T_T even more. I hope it doesn't cost too much... Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Shar went to SLAKfest this weekend and got interviewed by Tektime, who made a video of it! How exciting! Shar is a famous nerd! XD Woot!
Okay, it's cold and I'm incoherant, so I'ma go now. Can't be bothered finding random quoteage, so you don't get it! :P lol Loves ya.

| Wonderings.I wonder... if anyone even reads this anymore. No, wait! I know Kuy does, 'cause she commented on the pants thing. *giggles* The pants rock. So does chocolate. CHOCOLATE!
So, since Val's been back, I have seen her once. Twice if you count today, which I do because you make the most of what you have. Turns out that (as if cancer wasn't enough) Val has now been diagnosed with something called Lyme Disease. We looked it up. It's transmitted by ticks! Yuck. I wouldn't want to get sucked on by a tick! Anyway, it said it can be treated with a four-week course of antibiotics, so that's good! Now if only we could get the girl online for more than five seconds at a time...
Next week we're taking Nanna to Adelaide for yet another scan before they can determine treatment for her cancer. Thankfully, the last one showed no spreading, so that is a good thing, as if it had spread, she would have had six months left. That is an uber-short time. Sharlene and I spent Wednesday (that was results day) shopping for Dad's b'day and avoiding talking about it, except for a couple of times in the car when we both fell silent and knew the other one was thinking about, so we said something. I even said at one stage "...Six months is a way short time, dude..." But now there is hope!
I was going to say something very important and profound, but then I paused in my flow to make an RP reply to Kuy... *thinks very hard* I can't remember what I was going to say! *tears*
Welp, another semester down the drain. I am getting closer to being a teacher and, much as the though is gleeful, it is also terrifying. I suppose it means I have to grow up somewhat, and it will certainly severely cut the time I have to work on any form of writing. Also the time I can spend online doing not much of anything. Woe! Woe! Woe! At least there are holidays. *snerk* Best part about teaching.
Alright, that is enough shit from me. Here is a random quote!

| Why you should never leave half a glass of water on a side table when Rogue is around...Why you should never leave half a glass of water on a side table when Rogue is around...
Because he will knock it over and, because of my luck, it will go on my laptop. This time, the keys were safe (we all remember what happened with the coffee...) but the mouse was not so. The water had gone under the edges so it was going screwy when I moved my finger over the pad thingy. So, clever me goes "Well, I can just wait until it dries out, or I can take off that little silver surrounding bit, since I know it moves." Of course, I have no patience, so I pop off the silver bit and lo and behold, there's water around the edges, which is of course what's making the arrow go screwy, because it upsets the sensor current or something.
ANYWAY! I wipe it off! Yay for me! The pad is working fine. I try several times to get the silver bit back on, and when I finally do, it's not sitting right and the arrow will barely move when I touch the pad. O.o So I give it a jiggle. Now the arrow will move, but it slings back again when I take my finger off. >_< So I take the silver bit off again and jiggle around the pad until the touch-sensor is right, but now the left-click button isn't working! :O Oh no!
SO I take off the click buttons as well. They are very nifty, you know. They're connected to each other, and have three little holes at the top which go over pins so they stay still. Underneath the buttons are two very little buttons which obviously sense the click. By now I have plugged in a USB mouse I have so I can talk to Mel so she doesn't think I'm ignoring her, so I move the arrow to the chat-window button with the USB mouse and press the little left-click button. Nothing happens. o.O Right-click one works fine. I'm like WHAAAAAAAAAAT?! What have I done?! So I carefully lift up the touch-pad. There's some technological stuff and wotnot, but no water or anything that might have effected the left-click. So I lay it back down and (I don't know why) but the left-click is working again! O.O??????? So I just count my blessings, because now the touch-pad is working fine and the clicky little buttons are working again. Now I just have to put back in the click keys and the silver surround bit without fucking something up again.
But some absolute miracle, I do! And I have now learned never to leave water lying around. Or, if I do, never to try and "fix" things. >_< Hooray for me.
In other news, Manifest is back on! Well, we think anyway. >_< We're just waiting to find out if Shar is going to figure out what exactly is going on! But hopefully Mel and I will definitely be going now! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
